I am honoured to have contributed in the design of the 99 Names of Allah panels and 3 variations of the Mashrabbiya (privacy screens) which were used in the main prayer hall, above the mihrab and covering the minaret vertical windows for Adams Mosque in Nairobi, Kenya. Additionally, the design was carved with CNC into Mvule panels to clad the glossy black granite internal wall of the Mihrab.

The 99 panels and the privacy screens were designed and laser cut onto metal and powdercoated antique copper, to give the brown shade that Swahili architecture is quite famous for. The contrast with the off-white walls is quite beautiful.

The 99 panels have an opal white backing which allows for backlighting if the Mosque chooses so in future. Three more large panels were added which were backlit.
